What we do

kosmetika.ge is a free price-comparison engine for pharmacy products sold in Georgia. We collect publicly listed prices from major Georgian pharmacies, normalise them so the same product across multiple pharmacies links to one comparable card, and translate names into Georgian, English, and Russian so you can search in whichever language you prefer.

There's no registration, no shopping basket, no purchase history kept on our side. Every order happens directly with the pharmacy.

Why we built it

The same product can vary in price by 30–60% across Georgian pharmacies on any given day. Existing comparison tools are paid, registration-walled, or limited to one language. We wanted a free, fast, multilingual alternative that just shows the cheapest pharmacy and lets you click through.

kosmetika.ge is a comparison-only service, focused on over-the-counter products: cosmetics, perfumery, baby care, vitamins, and OTC medications. We do not sell, dispense, or stock anything; every purchase happens with the partner pharmacy. Prescription-only items are out of scope — they require a doctor's involvement, not a price-comparison page.

How matching works

We match listings across pharmacies by a normalised tuple of (brand, name, size, unit). When two pharmacies sell the same Vichy Mineral 89 50ml, you see one card with two prices — not two near-duplicate cards.

Listings refresh on a per-source schedule (every 6–24 hours). Items older than 14 days are hidden by default behind a "show stale" toggle on the product page.

Languages

The site runs in Georgian (default), English, and Russian. Switch in the header. Each product is searchable in all three scripts simultaneously — type "vichy" or "ვიში" or "виши" and you'll get the same results.

Who runs this

kosmetika.ge is operated as an independent project. We are not affiliated with any pharmacy. Sponsored placements (clearly labelled "Ad") help cover hosting and ongoing operating costs.
